Ell Meadow Locks

The Leeds-Liverpool Canal provides Ell Meadow's eastern boundary. The busy industrial past of the area is represented by the double locks found here. One of these has become derelict.

The canal is enhanced by flowers growing in and around it.
I think this is Hemlock Water Dropwort, which is pretty but highly poisonous.
