Michaelmas Butterflies

I took these pictures last Friday and Saturday (September 26th and 27th, 2008) at the edge of Mill-dam (Elnup) Wood during a short spell of fine weather.

Michaelmas is the 29th of September. Michaelmas Daisies are in full bloom then and provide a rich nectar source for late season butterflies.
