Robin

I was just walking along one of the paths when I heard, and then saw this beautiful robin. It sat still while I took many photographs.

Eventually it allowed me to get so close that I could almost touch it.

Wonderful

There is a feeding station which can be seen from the Bunting Hide. This attracts a large number of birds including, bull finches, chaffinches, greenfinches, marsh tits, blue tits, great tits, dunnocks, moor hens etc.

Especially pleasing are the bullfinches. I've seen several every time I've been here.

And once I saw a pair of ring-necked parakeets.

I didn't take any photos from this hide on this visit as it was already full with grim faced bird photographers.
